Systemiq has officially launched in the United States, making a bold bet to expand its impact in a pivotal market.
Systemiq has opened an office in the U.S., marking an important step in our global efforts to build more sustainable and inclusive economies.
As a trusted voice on systems change and sustainability issues, Systemiq brings its global expertise to one of the world’s most influential markets – creating a dynamic hub for collaboration, innovation and impact. The office in New York will strengthen Systemiq’s ability to shape markets, support sustainability action, and grow its network across North America, all while gaining new insights that reinforce our global mission.
Leading our U.S. efforts are Dee Yang and Tucker Van Aken. Dee is a former McKinsey partner with deep expertise in climate strategy and natural capital, including leading work with Mission Possible Partnership, co-founding the Nature and Natural Capital platform, and advising financial institutions on capital deployment. Tucker also joins from McKinsey, where he supported countries on 30×30 commitments and helped corporates reduce their climate and nature footprints. He brings a background in finance and diplomacy, with previous roles in investment banking at Credit Suisse and working for former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright at Albright Stonebridge Group.
As we build our U.S. presence, we’re focused on unlocking the next wave of system change – unlocking the economic potential of resilience, advancing circular solutions in materials and packaging, and refreshing the sustainability agenda with a focus on innovation and competitiveness. We’re also putting nature on the balance sheet and working with philanthropy to seize this moment for catalytic action.
Our goal: shape solutions that are distinctly American, with global relevance.
Jeremy Oppenheim, Founder and Managing Partner of Systemiq, said:
“Systemiq’s mission has always been to drive deep, system-level change. In launching in the U.S., we’re walking toward the challenge – because this market is central to shaping what comes next. The U.S. has the talent, capital, and creativity to lead a new wave of innovation, resilience, and job creation. We’re excited to partner with others who are building an economy that works better for people, the planet, and the future.”
We’re excited to be part of the conversation, and look forward to learning, contributing and partnering in the U.S. to drive meaningful progress.
If you’re working on similar challenges or looking to collaborate, we’d be happy to connect.
