Veerle brings a powerful combination of strategic insight, commercial leadership and relationship-building to Systemiq. She has established Systemiq as a trusted advisor to governments and international institutions on climate resilience, sustainable finance and sovereign investment strategies, helping countries translate climate ambition into investable programmes and financing pathways. Veerle has led the development and delivery of flagship programmes with governments including Barbados, Uganda and Kenya. She has also been instrumental in building Systemiq’s Sustainable Finance platform and establishing Nairobi as Systemiq’s hub for Sub-Saharan Africa.
