Annick brings to SYSTEMIQ her background in law, technology and impact investing.
She started her career as a lawyer in a top-tier corporate law firm in Canada, advising global companies on M&As, public offerings and project finance. Subsequently, she took the role of VP Strategic Development of a technology start-up, accelerating its growth to become a leading provider of cloud-based services. Before joining SYSTEMIQ, she completed an MBA and worked in London for an impact investing firm, supporting social enterprises with their business, stakeholder engagement and financial plans to become investment ready.
At SYSTEMIQ, she is driven by the opportunity of partnering with clients to develop long-lasting solutions to sustainability challenges by helping them leverage policies, innovation and all relevant stakeholders. Some of her engagements include supporting COP22 and COP23 Presidencies in their leadership role in the global climate change agenda and identifying economically-viable options to reduce the environmental footprint of an international conglomerate.
