Lincoln Rajali Shiotang
As an avid surfer, Lincoln is passionate about SYSTEMIQ's approach in using market solutions to solve ocean plastic pollution. Lincoln manages the city selection process for the Ocean Plastic project STOP and liaises with the government and implementing partners in Indonesia.
Lincoln has more than 12 years of development and private sector experience and is an expert in program implementation. He has led various development programs, including livelihood, community development and last-mile distribution. Prior to his role at SYSTEMIQ, he worked as the CEO and director of a social enterprise that sells fuel-efficient biomass cookstoves and then as director of a program that recruits and trains women to be micro entrepreneurs who sell renewable energy products.
He holds a master’s degree in Humanitarian Action (Network on Humanitarian Assistance/NOHA) with a specialization in program management from the University of Groningen and Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
In his free time, he loves spending time with his family at the beach.
