The case for concrete recycling in Rotterdam

This paper, written by Systemiq and commissioned by the Clean Tech Delta, examines Rotterdam’s opportunity to apply a circular economy approach to concrete –  significantly reducing emissions while also strengthening the economy.

It looks at how concrete recycling works and the role it can play in a wider move to future-proof the Rotterdam economy. It examines why concrete recycling hasn’t taken off so far, and proposes next steps to develop the opportunity.
