We’re pleased to share that Amy Paterson and Ita Kettleborough have been promoted to Partners at Systemiq. This well-deserved recognition reflects their outstanding contributions, commitment to driving impact and consistent leadership during their time at Systemiq.

Amy co-leads our Sustainable Finance practice with a focus on private markets, and also leads Systemiq’s Built Environment Hub. Amy’s works closely with asset managers and owners on climate, resilience and nature positive strategies. Since joining Systemiq in early 2020 she has helped shape major initiatives for the firm including our partnership with General Atlantic on BeyondNetZero and the LOTUF $1 trillion real estate decarbonisation platform with a group of global investors. Amy brings a sharp analytical approach and a multidisciplinary perspective that’s shaped by her time as chief of staff to Jeremy Oppenheim, as well as her background in management consulting and filmmaking in the arts.
Ita is a Partner in the Energy practice and Director of the Energy Transitions Commission (ETC). Together with the ETC Commissioners, Ita advocates for the technologies, investments and policies required to deliver global climate commitments. Ita leads the ETC Secretariat provided by Systemiq. She oversees its analytical, international, and communications programmes, whilst actively supporting ETC members. In her role as Partner, Ita brings a deep understanding of the clean energy landscape to help clients in the UK and internationally. Her recent work includes the March 2025 publication of a report on the UK Continental Shelf Transition.
