Former communication and knowledge management specialist and program development at various international non-government organizations and donor-funded programs, Wiwik has 15 years of experience working in development and humanitarian sector in Indonesia, supporting the delivery of both short term and long-term programs ranging from economic development, water, sanitation, and health (WASH), environment and forestry, renewable energy, to emergency response and rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Her recent role before joining SYSTEMIQ was a key team member of advocacy team at Program Representasi aimed to strengthen Indonesian civil society organizations, support public policy research, and work to ensure that legislative processes are more effective, transparent, and representative of citizens’ interests.
Wiwik is a strong advocate of cross-sector partnerships. She believes that Government, non-government organizations, and private companies, can work together to deliver successful programs, leveraging each partner’s unique and equally important role, strengths, and resources. Through SYSTEMIQ, she hopes to create more of these partnerships, scale and replicated the successful models.
Wiwik holds a Bachelor in Communication. During her spare time, she volunteers at a local foundation to manage ‘Rumah Pintar’ (smart house), giving informal education and psychosocial support to children of fishermen with poor access to education and prone to abuse.
